KL1 warrenty response from SF

Gee Whiz! I looked all over my KL1 and couldn't find the usage meter. I wonder if SF expects the IC to fail before the LED because 4000 hours seems rather short for a LED. But at $40 bucks I ain't too worried.

I contacted SF asking if their KLx were treated witht the same warrenty as their bulbs or a different warrenty as it is a LED product. They responded with this.

''Thank you for your e-mail regarding SureFire products. If an LED burns out prematurely, we will replace it. Life expectancy of the LED kits is around 4000 hours.''

Thought you guys might find this helpful. I don't even have my KL1 yet!
