KL3 feels perfect on 7.5P body

I have commented how a KL3 on a 6P body feels too short and a KL3 on a 9P body feels a little long.

As you may know, an A14 adapter is the length of 1 1/2 123 cells or 1 AA or A cell.

I put an A14 on a 3P body to get a body that is half way between 6P and 9P length. I loaded it with a partially spent 123 and a fresh AA battery (could have been an A). This combination works at full brightness and balances perfectly in my hands. This is also a very cheap way to drive the KL3.

I feel like Goldilocks after she found the "just right" bowl of porridge.

Although not as creative as your setup I find the 9P (old style round tube) with KL3 and clickie (Z49) to be a really nice and balanced combination. The clickie works best with the 1.5" bezels IMHO. I regret I don't have a camera to illustrate. Perhaps someone else can post a pic or two? I would like to see a pic of your setup lemlux.
