KL3 fit the 9P?

Hello again,

Has anyone fitted a KL3 Led head on the 9p 3cell?

I just purchased a 9p and want to convert it to led. Also, any info on how it may compare to my E2e/KL1 as far as brightness and runtime?

My KL3 is noticeably brighter with a wider hot spot than my KL1 on either 2 or 3 lithium cells. The KL3 is also brighter than the KL1 when used in a 9P + A19 loaded with 2 @ NiMH 4/5 A cells + a @ NiMH A cell.

Can't find your thread your talking about.

So the KL3 will fit an unmodified no adapter 9P?

Surefire site doesn't list the 9P on the Kl3 description.

If so, I will order one today.
