AFAIK, you'd need to use an RCR123 to drive this to the max.
I don't think a std. CR123 would be as bright.
With a freshly charged RCR123 you can expect the 100 lumens output
that is normal for a KL4. This output will drop off once the RCR123 is
drained and starts losing voltage and current.
I think the runtime with an RCR123 is about 25 minutes but it won't
be at full brightness for the whole time.
They call this arrangement (of a KL4 on a 1-cell body) a TW4
(after Tactical Warehouse)
