KL5 running 3x123...good or bad?

I have a SF KL5 head running on a 3x123 body, is this ok?
can the power from the extra batt cause damage?

I wouldn't use it as a "contant-on" light for too long from fresh SF123As. I'm sure it will be okay for use as a SureFire.

If its 'a bit okay' to run on 3x123 then I'm assuming that it'll be 'okay' too with freshly charged 2xR123 (about 8V)... no?

I have no idea about the R123 sorry. I guess it's important to know how these different combinations behave under load.
