Please please please tell me if this still has PWM or not! I'm not pulling the trigger on this one if it still has PWM!

Can you let us know if the XT11's side switch has a standby mode at all?
And if so, is it a micro-amperage type, where the batteries take years to drain?
Or does the side switch just jump between modes like: low/med/hi and strobe?

Today I received the XT-11 with high hopes to find they were exceeded! First and foremost I loved the packaging, plain simple and cheap! Manufactures who put their lights in cool plastic cases means I have to pay for that and not put that money towards the light! I want to carry the light and now the packaging!
Opening the light I found fit and finish top quality and super well finished. The light comes with a holster lanyard and spare "o" rings. the head has a internal spring and the tail cap is a self adjusting button to accommodate battery lengths (18650") The pocket clip is sturdy and easy to clip to pocket. The tube and switches and of high quality with quality knurling. The anti roll ring to removable and not too big just right size.
The tail cap switches are easy to use and the high power on every time is a great feature. The strobe on the recessed button is a wonderful feature, easy to access and the variable strobe works very well is confusing who ever it's being used on. This is a great EDC and sits and rests in the pocket very well
In testing so far I have used 2 CR123's with amazing output. The light in close range (close up tasks) is almost too bright but, with a single click of the tail cap mid to low power is plenty light! This light is a thrower with excellent spill with no artifact. Light output is just amazing!
My only complaint you can't stand the light on it's tail the mail button is too tall. With a light of this quality,fit and finish and outstanding light output you, simply stated "Can't go wrong" This light is powerful,easy you use and sized just right for any task!
This being my first Klarus it won't be my last, great job Klarus!

Just a couple things I left out of the review is the ease of use. So many lights have built in mode ofter mode and if you leave it in that mode say low you have to fiddle with it to get max output. In using this as a tactical it does not care what brightness setting you left it on when, you turn it back on FULL OUTPUT!
This is huge in a tactical situation I always have full output and it's easy to switch to lower settings if needed. The other is SUPER easy access to strobe huge in a needed environment! The light output does not have a "halo" on the outside of the beam and the light is bright white. Once I get a stupid camera that will woke for me I will post pics.
