I guess I'm just wanting this in an organized, all in one location and since I couldn't find it, figured I'd start it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: ...KLx option reference...

1) The KL1 will work fine on three cells.

2) The KL2 will fit on a M6 (and work).

3) The KL3 will technically work on a 3P, but it will be in direct drive mode (since the KL3 has no boost circuit) and will be fairly dim.

4) The KL4 will "work" on three cells in direct drive mode, but it is NOT recommended, and could damage the circuit.

5) We won't know more than what you have for sure until it is released.

6) The KL6 will fit the M3 and M6. It has an HA-III finish. Actual output etc won't be known for sure until it is released.

Re: ...KLx option reference...

Stock KL1 and KL3 has the same type of beam also.

Re: ...KLx option reference...

The KL5 is for the M2/C2 two SF123As standard bodies and NOT for the E Series models!!!

Do you really know anything about the KL5/KL6 beam or runtime/output?

Re: ...KLx option reference...

The KL1 comes also in GM (SG) finish and RD, BL and GN light options.

The KL3 will NOT fit the M3.

Re: ...KLx option reference...

KL1 will also fit L4 body - I think. It took me some time to figure out if there is any difference between an E2e body and L4 body, so this info could be useful.

Re: ...KLx option reference...

the E2e and L4 bodies are identical, except for the etchings on the sides. i think a lot of people aren't aware that the threads on the bezel end of an M3 are not the same as those on a C2/M2/6P. the M3 actually shares the same bezel threads as the M4 and M6. however, the C3/Z3/9P share the same threads as the C2/M2/6P and this is probably what causes the confusion.

Re: ...KLx option reference...

Photos of any & all LED heads would be appreciated, especially anyone who has any of the GunMetal grey finish or different colored LED's...I'd like to try to limit the photos to just the KLx heads though...I'll see how that works out! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'll put them up on my ImageStation account if you'll just email them to me (email in profile). thanks!
