Hi again,

Here are the tests i promised that show the remaining capacity of
the Kodak low self discharge cells after being fully charged and then
sitting on the shelf for 6 months.

So far i only tested 2 out of the 4 cells i purchased and here
are the results:

11/02/2007

Voltages...
#1: 1.292v
#2: 1.295v
#3: 1.294v
#4: 1.288v

Capacities...
#1: 1.551Ah
#2: 1.596Ah

The cells are marked 2000mAh minimum, so i guess these results are
not too bad.

What i dont have yet is the 'soon after charge' data, where the cell
is tested a few days after being charged.

Hi again,

Today i charged the two cells back up and they took 2300mAh each which
tells me they are rated about 2000mAh each so that means that they
both lost about 500mAh (about 25 percent of full charge) over the
six month period, which isnt too bad really.

I'll be doing more testing as time goes on and i'll report more results here too.

Doesn't sound too bad, though I expected a bit less self discharge. Still better than normal NiHms. Thanks for the info.
