Kydex belt case for two CR123 batteries

I made this case to carry a spare set for my e2.

A new member here. Very cool case for the 123's. I received the new Surefire V82 nylon holster for the E2e from Surefire this week. (12.00)
It had two flaps that velcro together to form a belt loop. I wanted a clip on so I modified it. I took the stainless steel spring clip out of a clip on eyeglass case. I inserted it into the flaps on the V82 and about 15 min with some black thread and it was done. It is very strong and clips on a belt or jeans very tightly.

Great work! It bothered me that I couldn't wear that case without a belt. You've come up with the perfect solution. Looks like it was built that way!

Do you have som info on how to work with Kydex? ... or maybee a link to a "How-To-Work" with Kydex?
