I measured the voltage produced by the L1 body and are 6,3 V. circa.
Can i put the head of the L1 on the E2e body ?
Do you think that is safe ? ( it will be 6v direct driven )

thanks

Absolutely not. The LED in the L1 head will be very bright... and then die.

The L1 has a regulator circuit in the body of the light. It boosts the 3v from the battery to the Vf of the LED (3.2v, give or take), at a constant current. The L1 head is "dumb", meaning that it has no electronics in it. If you put it on the E2e body, the LED will see 6v, which is so far over the Vf that the LED will die.

It is possible to fit a small driver from the shoppe into the back of the L1 head to drive it on a 2 cell setup.

I once fried an old square body L1 head by trying that exact setup. DO NOT TRY IT.
