L2D Body survey

Hi All!

I'm just curious to find out if there are other L1D owners that are interested in getting an L2D body (2xaa) but not impressed with Fenix's factory design.

On a different note, it's to my understanding that Cree LED takes maximum 4.2volts. Please correct me if I'm mistaken. Otherwise, will Cree be able to handle overdrive of 2x123? If so, is there interest of a 2x123 body?

I believe the input voltage is 1.2V to 3.3V for all the modes to operate correctly. When using 14500 Li-ion 4.2V fully charged all modes are on high till the voltage drops. A 2x123 configuration would be 6.0V minimum. I believe we would see the magic smoke at that point.

I have an L2D body and a CR-123A Body (Made by CPF Member Kooter) On the way to me now. I'll let you know what I think when I get them.
