Anybody else want a L2D-CE with single CR123a body? I like the L2D-CE and L1D-CE because they allow you to select whether you want low or high on the first click. I wish Fenix could combine the small size, and impressive power of a CR123a with the choice of high or low on the first press of the clicky switch.

CPF member Kooter is making some 123 bodies for the LxD's. The only downside is that they won't be anodized. Do a seach for his name and you'll find what I'm talking about.

I think that might be good as a mod, but it's not up to Fenix standards. It's not anodized, and has no O rings. Plus, you still have to buy the (for me) pointless single AA body. I'd like to see Fenix sell a model exacly like the L2D CE but with a CR123a body. Maybe they could call it an LcrD CE.:)

ABSOLUTELY! All I want is high/low, clickie, and a CREE. I am sure a more simplified version of their D lights would sell more product.

An L1T with 123 tube and a Cree would sell like mad.

Totally agree. A LxD(keeping the current regulation) with just high and low by bezel twist and momentary on would ROCK!
Heard that Liteflux is going to offer their LF1 with a Cree, looks very interesting...

This is my P1D-CE/kooter123, 80mm long
