la crosse quirk?

i've had a la crosse charger for a little while now (v. 33) with no problems. recently however, i'm noticing strange behavior. it still charges fine at all current levels but channel 1 and 2 will not discharge at any rate. different cells, different rates, no difference. it will start at the selected rate and then 1 & 2 slowly drop to zero while 3 and 4 discharge as normal. i just noticed this after picking up some duracell pre's (made in japan) and wanting to run a refresh cycle on them. nothing doing. anyone else notice anything like this?

I had one that developed such a quirk after some batteries overheated in the charger. It was still under warranty so I had it exchanged. I dropped charging rate to 700 for the cells that overheated...
