I've just supplied my bc1000 with a gorgeous 12 Volts current, by mistake. He gently passed away... :(

I've just ordered from my favorite seller (nkon, for the record) a new charger, which is named "Lacrosse bc-1020": is that a restyle of the previous one? On nkon site is told to sport a new processor.

Any thoughts?

on the Lacrosse site it's listed only the bc1000.
The new charger came. On the box is said that it has a new "lx" processor, and it seems to work well.

Nkon is always a well trusted supplier though.
