I was just wondering....will the maglight lenses work on the Brinkman AA Legend? I'm looking for something to use on my Lambda Illuminator that will change its color output.
THe only things that i think would work would be the Maglight lenses with the shock isolator, or Surefire beam shapers.

So what do you think? Any ideas? Basically, i'd like to try and see what an LS in blue would look like before purchasing a cyan Arc LS when they are available.

the head sizes are the same diameter and i think it would work just fine but the color temperature will probably be off some... i don't think you will be able to get a good comparison to a cyan LS just by using a blue filter.

LEDagent,

The cyan Luxeons I've played with are not a turuoise blue, but more toward the green side. Definetly a shift toward the blue compared to a regular green Luxeon, but still more green than turquoise blue.

If you like Blue, get the Royal Blue Luxeon. You won't regret it........

Brinkmann makes a filter cap for the 2AA which is nicer than the mag one. This cap will also fit E2e, Arc LS and many other flashlights. The cap can flip off and yet remains attached. Its only $5, free shipping too. I made clear and translucent (beamshaper) lenses for mine.

This is a good way to protect the Arc LS optics from scratches in your pocket. I use it with the yellow lens. the yellow is a nice color when you wake up in the middle of the night and don't want too much light.

Its hard to find on the brinkmann site so here http://www.thebrinkmanncorp.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=8&Product_ID=313&CATID=2

Thanks cave dave! I'm gonna get it!

Lambda, once again thank you for the Lambda. What are they going for nowadays anyway? Boy this is such a great light. It doesn't even feel like a mod! I feel so confident with this lights that i actually make it my primary light at times. When i go camping, this is definately going to be my primary light!

I'm just wondering how those beamshapers would look like with the Luxeon mod. hmmm...only one way to find out.
