If I recall correctly, Laser Devices is the parent company of Surefire (or Surefire is the product line name for their lights). The original 6P had Laser Devices engraved on the tailcap (again, if I'm recalling my facts right).

Laser Products was the company that has since become SureFire - It changed it's company name to it's brandname a few years ago.
Laser Devices is the weapon-mounted light / hand-held light company that TigerLight and Strategos are working with - makers of the "OP6". I believe Laser Devices also OEM for a number of companies including providing the bezel for the Oerlikon LLM01 - used by some British Army.

Correct, laser devices is a whole different animal. I've never seen any of their products up close and personal and was wondering if anyone had one
