I've seen these at many places online, they use a single LED and can give only 12 hours of light. (about equivalent to a real lightstick). So anyone here used one of these before? How brigt, durable etc.

PS. I was about to buy one but the A-76? batteries scared me away. Never heard of those.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I've used the Lazer Stiks for a couple of years. The are absolutely the cheapest (really effective) to operate. The only criticism I have is that they do not come with a flat base-to set then down, freeing your hands. I fixed that problem by fashioning a flat base from a dead Krill lamp.

As to batteries, the L.R.44s (exactly same as A-76) can easily be bought on a card of 10 cells for $2.
(either on ebay or from www.bgmicro.com

p.s.-for longer usage you can use Silvr.Oxide (S.R.44) (available from Hosfelt electronics). @ 65¢ each-giving you 200mAh instead of the 125mAh of the alkaline A-76/357/ L.R.44-all equivalent to the same thing.
