Now that i have my pictures uploaded on a free image host, i can post some of my images. These pictures were taken using my Olympus C-700 on Manual mode. I chose the best apature and shutter settings that closely matched what my eye saw. But it IS amature!

here they are.

In person, the UKE Light Cannon and E2 solos and beam comparisons really ouputed more light than seen on the picture. I don't know why it came out that way - the settings i used just couldn't pick up the ambient light accurately without having to overexpose the photo too much. But the comparison between the LSI and LC is pretty accurate. All images were using similar shutter and apature settings in manual mode.

Nice pictures. My first thoughts are:
1. The LSI can't be used indoors, too bright, and yellow color is disgusting.
2. The LC 100....what a nice color and perfect brightness.
3. Not a bad performance from the E2

Cool pics LEDagent. The surrounding beam of the LSI appears to be much wider (it looks like it lights up most of the room) and the hotspot is much much more intense, although not as round and evenly dispersed as the Light Cannon). Now, I don't really want to be a party pooper or anything but if you take this into consideration, wouldn't you say that the LSI is the better light when you need a super bright spotlight (for land use and leaving runtimes aside)?

But of course Velcro. Each of my lights serve a specific purpose, that's why you can bring all of them on some kind of expedition and be able to use them for specified tasks...too bad they're all too heavy!

The LSI Spotlight is still THE best light that i have, considering that it is the strongest - 55 watts! But in overall performance, the Light Cannon is hands down the winner. It might not have the reach of my 55watt spotlight outdoors, but it is a little more usefull outdoors in forrest type conditions because of it's ability to light up MORE of my surroundings EVENLY. Just like how Surefire has a perfect beam for a purpose, so does the Light Cannon. But the characteristic of those large hotspots from SF or underwater lights, disable them from having the ability to actually throw a beam past 150-200 yards effectively.

Hey recercare, THanks! The color temp of the LSI and SF are digusting when you compare them to HID or LED! And you are right, The LC100 is perfect brightness. THe LSI's spot is, in fact, soo bright, even outdoors, that all your attention is drawn to where the spot is pointed, making you "blind" to your surrounding. When i brought my LC100 to the woods, along with the LSI, i found the LC100 100 times more useful than my spot - even if it is equivelant to 25-30 watts. But if i wanted to pinpoint an animal or tree 300 - 500 yards across a lake, then the LSI serves the purpose.

Well...now that i got a host setup for images, AND is readily viewable to everyone, I would be more than happy to post pics for anyone in need of a temporary host. Just give me a hollar via email or private message!

Also, look at my sig and let me know if you'd like to see anymore beam shot/pictures of those lights.
