ok, I've been reading up on these lasers for some time now, and decided to buy one.. got a leadlight 105 (has red dot on back of diode if helps, and no led) well i may have slipped off the pot while workin on it, and now i'm getting nothing... was fine for a few adjusting times, but now i'm getting nothing from it.. pot is registering 330ohms (from the top of the pot to the top right leg with laser facing away) when button is pressed the diode is registering 1.37 volts from the + case to the legs on the pot side of the pcb... everything seems to be in working order, only thing that might be bad is the pot, but it seems to be testing out fine.. I never dropped it, its all new, and there's no rattle sound in it, all solder joints appear good...

any info is appriciated, been into electronics for a long time since the days of when I programmed psx mod chips... anyone with info, point me in a direction to check... thanks

Check the resistance from the top pin of the pot to the bottom pin, then the resistance from the top pin of the pot to the middle pin, then middle pin to the bottom and see if it seems right. Feel free to post the readings for comment.

here's the reference pic...

points 1-3 = 1.54k
points 2-3 = 179ohms
points 1-2 = 1.54k
points 3-4 = 0 ohms (they are same spot on a pot)
points 3-legs of diode = 1.32k
