Hi you guys,

I got my leadlight about 2 months ago and i have noticed recently that the button is becoming more and more inactive, you really have to put some force into pressing it down to turn on the laser,

I am very happy with the laser thouh its great ! ( 38.5 mW ! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif )

Any ideas on how to return the button back to normal ?

I don't know if it's even remotely the same, but the circuit board on my old keychain laser bent backwards, so that it actually became inoperable. Maybe the same thing is happening. .

you would probably have to open her up and check it out. Have been popping the button on an off for the pot mod?

Still like this, got slightly worse, possibley a bit of dirt ???

got some compressed air ?

Could that work

could have worn the switch out? The switches in these pointers is not what I would call "quality" maby you can find a replacement switch fron a junk vcr or tv and replace it?

Okay, Found out whats wrong now and need some ideas on repairs.

The red plastic casing which is below the button has cracked, so when the button is press it just separates the crack and thus not pressing the switch,

Now it also looks like the whole insides or the mteal casing has rotated as last night the button went inside the laser ! Luckily i managed to get it out this morning , So how do i go about rotating it back so the button doesnt get lost and will some super glue fix the crack ?

Or does anybody know of a company (preferably in the uk) that can take a look and fix it ?
