Hello,

I have just been given a Leatherman Juice XE6 as a present but the pliers don't seem to close completely. is this normal? When fully closed and with the handles touching (in fact rubbing) the pliers always have enough of a gap to pass a sheet of paper between the jaws. Otherwise the tool is really nice and I am very pleased but it wouldn't be any good for removing splinters and similar small things.

I am planning on buying a Surge as well, are the pliers on this good in that they close completely?

Thank you,

Andrew

With my juice KF4 there always was some air between the pliers short of the very tip of the pliers. That way it was ensured, the tip is the first point where the pliers touch each other and you could use it relly well for picking tiny objekts lik splinters.
Sadly, i lost my KF4. Now i got a charge tti ^^

Thank you Shorty,

I contacted the supplier and apparently they were faulty, I sent them some photos and it is really clear that the jaws don't touch at any point along their length so I am just waiting for the replacement.

My Surge is waiting at the Post Office for me to collect it in the morning, I'm quite excited to see what that is like!

Andrew
