have you guys seen the website www.ledecolights.com , i recently just brought a few they are using cree technology and have the latest cree chip which is not out until next year. They also have dimmable LED GU10 which are also not out till late next year.

A 3w led is equivalent to a 50w halogen?

I did not find any spotlight which are using latest cree led. Those MR16 have been added to the online shop in july 2007??New???
You will need about 300lm if you want same output with 12V/20w halogen. With one latest cree with 700mA you will get about 200lm, and some losses in optic..so....And if there is optic,there is also problem with beam, which is looking weird on the room where its been installed
