Sorry if you guys have already discussed this, but I just discovered it. There's a good article at equipped.com on LED flashlights. He compares a whole bunch of single- and multi-LED lights. Doug's objectives are generally a bit different than ours -- he evaluates based more on usefulness for his interest, which is boat/plan ditching and survival, rather than being a flashlight fan per se. But his evaluations on almost any equipment are generally pretty good.
