I need this for an outhouse at my off-grid property. If it had a motion sensor that would be the best. Tired of the kids leaving the light on and running down the batts. Anybody seen what I'm looking for?

I once saw an LED timer taplight at walmart that ran something like 5 mins per tap that could work. I also saw a thread talking about an LED light that was motion sensing for something like closets. I would think you wouldn't need a lot of light in an outhouse unless you just had to read when 'concentrating'.

I've got one of those LED taplights with timer that Lynx_Arc mentioned. It is a Garrity and did come from WalMart (in the electrical stuff aisle). I think it was about $7. It's got four LEDs and is fairly bright. The timer can be set for about 30 sec. up to at least 5 min. It uses 4 AA's that were included.

Watchtower lantern from Coleman. I have one. They're not that bright, but cheap and easy to mod. Planning a CREE XR-E mod for the one I own.

They're still available, but not for long. The product manager from Coleman has said he is killing the product from their line (see following link).
