Led Lenser P5 mod?

Has anyone disassembled the Coast Lenser P5 yet? Is it a suitable platform for Mods? Pictures of the disassembly would be great if anyone has some.

What kind of mod where you planning? Changing emitter should be doable, but not sure if it's worth it since it should be Q4+ already.. putting li-ion power source should be doable too, but there's already P5R. Changing driver - I have no idea.

Thanks for the link. I'd really like to replace the driver. Mainly I want multiple levels of light, but the ability to use a lithium cell would be nice too.

Yeh thats the only downside to this light...would be nice to be multi level. If mine were to ever stop working i would definitely replace the driver! It looks quite modable to me although i'm not sure how much space there is for another driver
