LED light bar

Hi guys -

well, it sure has been a long time since I have visited here. Looks like lots have happened - gotta get an Arc light.

I have taken a new job as a radio tech for my local sheriff and have come across the coolest LED light bar I have seen ever - for public safety applications:

We just got one and it blew me out of the water. No promises but I will try to get some shots of it and post pictures in the future. Wish I had some spare pocket change for one of these (not like I have the $ or permission to use one...)

Looks like these use Barracuda and Bluefish chips in Luxeon Star Power Light Source packages - these are the ones made by LumiLEDs that have been the topic of the day every now and again here on CPF.
