LED Muffler?

Now there's an LED use I never would have guessed. I wouldn't even be able to use it, fortunately

Agree with Darell, never would of thought it up, but what if they were blue LEDs on the right car?

I shudder to think what the "right car" would look like.

Would it by chance have neon pink double wiper blades and a fake cell phone antenna?

I've been seeing blue LEDs on the front hoods of cars alot lately. I think they are being mounted on the windshield washer jets. Not my taste, but if you like them, why not?

I've never seen a car with a green or blue LED in it, though I've seen wiper lights and other similar "accoutrements" fly through Ebay for at least the last year.

You'd think Seattle would be progressive about the use of LEDs, seeing that I live here. :)

I'm not sure about any other state, but here in Utah(13 days to the OLYMPICS!!) I believe it's illegal for a car to have any blue lighting on the exterior unless you are an emergency vehicle. I don't know if they enforce it or not (nor do I ever intend on finding out!) but I do think it's against the law. Only white and amber to the front, and only red white and amber to the rear.

Same in CA. Blue is reserved for emergency vehicles, as is red to the front. The under-car neons are illegal to drive with. But then, so is going 56mph in some places.

I don't think I'll be swapping out my windshield washer nozzles just to give the CHP a reason to look twice.
