Where is a good reputable online source for LED's and resistors ?

I know Ebay is like trying to make a hole in one and I just want to find a good source.

Thanks everybody. :)

Try Mouser or Digikey for the resistors. Get your LEDs from DX (dealextreme.com). Wire can be found at any auto, electronics, or hardare store.

I highly recommend looking for your resistors at a local electronics store. I once wanted a single $0.20 resistor from Digikey, and the order came to about $12 with their small-order handling fee of $5, $6 shipping, and minimum order of 5 resistors.

If you're trying to create a flashlight, look at DX's driver circuit offerings. They may suit your needs better than resistors.

What I do for passives (resistors, capacitors, etc.) is buy decent quantities of the most common values. For example, last time I bought a restock assortment of resistors I bought 100-1000 each of about ten different values. By doing so I got plenty of parts to proto with and hit the price breaks for qty. purchasing.

I spent like 50 bucks, including shipping, and shouldn't have to buy leaded resistors for the next few years unless it's an oddball value or precision or something.
