The small Turtlelite II looks pretty useful for light-duty torch but whats with that price tag!

The Dorcy Coolblue is apparently exactly the same as the Turtlelite I and is selling for around $8, while Ledcorp is charging $19 for the Turtlelite I.

The PR3 Luxeon replace bulb is $40 but the LED itself costs $11.55 for 1 (bulk prices are significantly lower).

If only Dorcy would make a Turtlelite II clone and sell it for $10, an extra $2 over the original Coolblue for another LED.

But I don't have time to reverse engineer them

Seriously it seems like Ledcorp is really taking consumers for fools. The Turtlelite I and the "Best Aluminium Flashlight" are more than twice as expensive as the Dorcy equivalent which is apparently exactly the same product.

I wouldn't mind getting a Turtlelite II but knowing how much cheaper Ledcorp can sell it for is disconcerting

Someguy, I've often wondered the same thing about this light, and also think their stuff is too pricey.
