Hi All,

As you know a member of our forum got into a bit of a scrape this New Years, Anyway, I thought I'd help.

Here's my plan, visit my forsale page below, and if you want to buy something, the funds would go directly to him to use as he sees fit, and I'd send the item directly to you.

I can add items for people, or, if davidw doesn't mind you could add to this thread.

Ideas, comments welcome.

Actually, I'm going to the magistrate tomorrow to try and talk my way out of the tickets and get the "offending" LED display board returned to me. One ticket was for "impersonating a public official" and another for "unlawful display of a lighting device".

Sorry if I flew off the handle earlier... I was really quite pissed when I got home, fist clenched around my newly-earned citations. I have since eliminated any personal references in the original message. :}

Other than these two overzealous police officers, everybody else really thought the lights were cool.
I'm going to leave the LED headlamp on, since it's OK to display yellow/amber from the front.

Anyway, although I really appreciate the legal defense fund effort, don't call in the cavalry until I know if I can get the tickets dismissed or not.
Personally, I think the charges are quite frivolous, and I hope the magistrate also thinks so.

P.S. I kept my hands to myself.

Well, I'm back.
The magistrate thought this was one of the silliest cases to come across his bench, and all charges were rather promptly dismissed.
I then got a property release, and took that up to the appropriate police precinct and retrieved the offending LED module and reinstalled it, allowing it to blink happily all the way home.

Meaning, I'm pretty much back where I was before this sleighride began.

Thanks for your offer of aid & support, but it looks like I managed to sneak under the radar this time.

Now, let's get back to the subject at hand: LED FLASHLIGHTS!
