Legend LX --> Focusable??

Hi, Here is a "dumb newbie" question:

I want to build a luxeon light, so after reading a bunch here, the Legend LX popped to the top of the list as modder fodder. Wally World provided the goods, but after ripping it open and powering it up, the discovery was made.

I think the Legend LX is no longer focusable. It looks like the screw on head is now press fit on a non-threaded post and staked in place. Am I a total rim-nod and can't figure out how to move the head or what? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I just got one last month and it is focusable. I wonder what is going on.

I recently picked one up as a gift for a friend, and it focuses as well. I wonder if this is something new, and some WallyWorlds still have old stock?

Can you post pics of the LX you have?

Thanks for the input.
The packaging no longer states "Spot to flood focusing".
The battery tube is NOT threaded where it stick up inside the head.

I have photos, but I need a few hints on how to get them from my computer up to you...
