Some new additions to the family - and a question at the end...

Did a bit of horse trading with Maxspeeds and ended up with a Sundrop XR-U hosting a Sandwich Shoppe GDuP Engine with a Seoul High CRI emitter...

Then one of my first 'lego' projects. A while back I purchased a Sandwich Shoppe GDuP/Cree XR-E engine with thoughts of swapping it into the Sundrop XR-U from time to time (killer combination, BTW.) Meanwhile, this same horse trading netted a nice looking Erin A19 head. SOOO, thought it would look good with that XR-E engine riding on a McClicky...so the question: Does it look better on a 1x123 McClicky or a 2x123 McClicky pak? Photos follow...

Wouldn't be complete without a few beam shots...

Oh, and if you are interested in their output readings, they are recorded in a post over here.

Don't you just love this hobby?

Awesome shots as always, Dan! I have to say, I'm partial to the Erin A19 head on the 1x123 pak. But, this is probably because I've never seen it on a 2x123 pak before. They both look great! I'd probably decide on the pak depending on how long of a runtime you needed. It's so great to have these options as problems :D

Thanks Joel! Unfortunately, both of those paks are 'spoken for', so I have to decide how much I am willing to spend, too!

Thanks again for a great trade - and I'm pleased you are happy with the XP!!
