As a certified whacky guy, I hate scratches on most everything. A few weeks ago, I bought a Streamlight Syclone. Given it poly body, I knew that much was virtually indestructible. However, I wanted to protect the lens, to the extent possible, from unnecessary scratches and dings.
Soooo, I took a WriteRight screen protector intended to protect my PDA's screen, and cut it to fit my flashlight lens. Works like a charm.
