Li-ion AAA, Soliaire, mjled... what to do

I have these components, but don't want to fry my led. If running DD, will that happen with an AAA li-ion cell? I've read that it will with a 14500. Wondering if the AAA puts out less current than it's bigger brother.

If needing a resistor, which one, and how to attach?
