My daughter's new boyfriend got a crossbow and wants to mount a light for hunting.
This is not my area of expertise.
I showed him my whole collection of 8 or so lights of various sizes, beams, etc and he thinks a throwy (XPG) light with at least 200 lumens would be good. He liked my 2xcr123 Surefire G2Xpro and my 1 x cr123 4sevens quark the best) but felt the single CR123 size was better.
His funds are limited - i'm thinking the closer to $50 the better

So I'll sum up what i think he wants:
Single CR123
simple modes (would prefer 2 like the surefire)
XPG2 emitter
can go on a picatinny rail

any thoughts would be appreciated

Eagletac T200C2. Less than $60, rotate head to change mode. I use it as a weapon light.

thanks
i have an S200 c2 and love it.
2 questions-
can that go on a picatinny rail ?(that's someting i have no experience with)
Is it better to have a tail switch for mode changing (i.e does the light being mounted to something closely make it hard to turn the head?
