Light for me claiming 4 deg from standard optics?

Well if it uses XR-E's like the name suggests then a 4 degree beam is very likely. But then there is the wider spill beam as well to consider.
The LEDs do seem to be over driven if they are XR-E's and if they are run at 5 watt. I wouldnt have a concern about that but it is interesting to see in a commercial light.

What I do find really interesting is that they seem to drive one LED by its self in low mode and the other six are turned on in high mode.
This suggests that there is one driver for 1 LED and another driver for the other six. Perhaps they are driven 2P3S or 3P2S. Although not the most efficient way to have a "low" mode since 7 LED's driven at 5 watt would be brighter than 1 LED at 5 watt but it does offer redundancy if one driver or LED array fails.
 
those optics look like ledil LXP optics which claim a +/-3°=6° for XR-E leds.
interesting light, but the head seems a bit large in diameter, 70mm. The diameter is needed to get 3 lenses on a line in it. LXP optics are 21.6mm so makes about 65mm so the total diameter makes sense.

interesting light though.
