Light with AA or AAA Rechargeables

Can somoene point me to the right direction for a light that can use AA or AAA or C or whatever that I can use rechargable batteries? I don't mind doing a conversion or using a regulator. I just don't want to buy batteries. I currently own a Surefire 8x and would like something pretty bright. I know it won't compare to the surefire but something near there would be nice. any suggestions?

You could get a Tec 40, 4 AA NiMHs, and a 3 cell Whitestar bulb for the Maglight. If you want it even brighter at the center, use the narrow beam reflector available from Brightguy. Just search "Tec 40" and you should get a lot of mention of this.

Thanks, I'll take a look. How about the LS leds? Are those any good with rechargables?
