Lights You Want Me To Mod

Candle Power Flashlight Forum

Help Support CPF:

BeastFlashlight, buy the Zebralight SC62w for $85. Or the slightly larger SC600w MKII LII. Both lights have 3modes plus a secondary mode. On top of that, you can change the secondary mode to a brighter or dimmer one. The UI is one of the best in the world IMO, the PiD thermally controlled circuit is fricking awesome. I've been using a SC600 and it's updates for years, and they are definitely top of the class. Selfbuilt has them rated among the best flashlights he's ever tested, you can read up on them at www.flashlightreviews.ca/
Ooops, maybe it's a bad idea to point ppl away from Vinh's lights, but in your case you don't really need a modded light.

Lights You Want Me To Mod

As you guys know there are just so many lights out there. New lights comes out all the time that I know nothing about unless someone tells me about it. So if there is a light you might want to see me mod let me know here :-)

Thank You!!!

Do you have a mod for nitecore TM26

Damn Vinh now i'm really having an avalanche of ideas, ok i'm still thinking about the Zebralight vs X2vn not sure yet, but on a seperate note can u mod an ArmyTek Viking/Preditor? I love it's tank durablity & looks but not a fan it's UI, plus it's like 2 yrs old, maybe add the XML2 U3, and beefed up heat sink, and a simpler driver? In fact if that's possible i'd move it to the top of my list.

Hey don't worry Vinh himself recommended to me the Zebralight as a toss up option to one of his own, he doesn't at all come across as a snake salesman pitching his own stuff and bashing all else lol

Will the D25AAA be coming soon Vinh?
See you have done the T2svn, tempting :-]
I was very impressed with the EO5ssvn, and cant wait for the D25AAA. Think it should have more throw than the others of it's size.

fenix pd40- mtg2 emitter on a single 26650! and its quite small also.
fenix ld75- can this be considered a mini tk75 hehe, the way vinh mods, it surely can!

Hmm... As it is, the stock light driver is already making a lot of efficiency compromises in output and runtime (compared to a 2x 4.2V set-up) to run the 6V MT-G2 on a single cell. I doubt a lot can be done with it. But Vinh has been known to surprise with his modding prowess.

I think a good alternative for a compact single 26650 flooder would be the StriveVn. :)

Sunwayman C25C Titanium Light With Trit

Add another request to see what you can do with this light. Gorgeous little number!
I like it better than the Dream.

I did some checking around, if what I was told is correct this one will retail about $185. If you could manage to push this as into the 1200 - 1400 lumen range with a 1 or less low low I'll put my money down on one now! :)

Hey great catch!!! Never saw this, the thread with his listed lights is a little bit incomplete i guess there's just too many to list them all, i suppose that list is the most popular ones. Thanks a lot for bringing this to my attention!!
