Vinh, how about modding the new Acebeam K40S, K50V3; or Nitecore EC4sw, TM16GT, perhaps.

I second this, I just got an XPL HI light that is a champ. But I have noticed that fog / humidity is kryptonite for it. I don't know the science / mechanics of that but I go back to my pd35 when it's foggy which cuts through better

I wonder if the tint affects the performance in fog. I always associated amber for fog lights.

I opted for the tm36 with nbp52 batt pack & it's doing the job wonderfully BUT I'd really like to get the 4+18650 barrel that comes with the tm36lite to have more flexibility and utilize the cells I already have. I've tried to email nitecore & searched the web with no success. I'm sure I'm not unique in this need . If anyone knows where to get this part please post it.

It's like a damn unicorn. I got lucky to get mine. You can try emailing Nitecore.
 
Update. I got a response from Nitecore regarding the stock 4 cell battery barrel (Tm36), they said yes they could send me one for $80.00!!!!!
Bull s..t on that! So I contacted Andrew & Amanda where I purchased the TM36 and the customer service representative said he would send me one out for free ! I'll be damned customer service still exists.

Hello. I have a Sunwayman model m30r,and I love this light,but would like to have put out a bit more if possible. Can you mod this one my friend?.

Same two stage switch and ui, better looking...the silver color rocks!
and will probably be scratch free because easier to open.

Can you mod an 18650 copper tnc with a triple nichia drop in - like a powerful HCRI heavy copper pocket rocket ?.

How about the MecArmy SGN3? The UI could use some refining. But your usual magic replacing LEDs and boost modes could easily push this from 160lumens to 300 lumens. You could have a Surefire Sidekick killer here!
 
Has anyone ever modded a Star Wars lightsaber. I would love for my boy (Alex) to have one so he will not want to play with mine. He gets to touch my tube vn but knows not to touch any others. He has 18 lightsabers and just looking for that special one ?

3600 lumens and 1000 meters makes this a desireable light even un modded.
 
Need a BLF sd10 modded swapped to a Nichia led hcri with good hotspot throw like the cool did if that one led like that can do that!.

a zeusray led swap to Nichia hcri and the pill wrapped in copper to keep it cooler maybe

As long as they all keep their 4000k tint and 93 cri.

Hello all, not sure if this is te correct place to post this but here goes!
I just got myself a Convoy C8 from banggood, but i've beeb reading that it's a very modifiable flashlight, my question is, what components should i get to turn this into a very good thrower?
I've done some research but there's a lot of stuff out there!:duh2:
There are: emitters, mcpcb, drivers, sink pads, pills... i have no idea as to what i need, any help will be much appreciated.
