Lights You Want Me To Mod

Something a bit less fancy. Have you ever considered making a Fulton mod and selling them? New Fultons range from $8 to $60 depending on model. A good variety of types as well. Likely most, if not having had or used one of their lights before know their military model angle head. US made and manufactured. Assorted colors, OD green, Camo, Yellw/Orange/White/Blue/Black GiTD as well. Some models are water and even explosion proof. If you peruse military surplus, you can get them alot cheaper, have seen $4 a pc, less if in bulk. Though they may not have all the spare colored lens. Don't know if it could be done where it could run off anything that could fit, from .1 volt up to 12v for 1 single alkaline up to 8 AA and 1 A123 to 2 32650's. But a simple efficient light, super reliable and long run times. I am unsure if the switch could do things like modes, or ramping due to its on/off with signal button or not. But moonlight to 200ish lumens, in a water proof battery omnivore host that can tail stand (or be attached magnetically on some models) is appealing. Even better if using as many US made parts as possible.

Yah the vintage Fultons looks super cool.
2 32650s powering an HiCRI XHP70 would be neat.

I like the new ones tbh. Same just upgraded some. I think a XHP70 would likely melt it. A single smaller led or a bit of throw if needed with the reflector, pop in the frosted lens and you got pure flood, or the blue/red/green for whatever they are used for.

Fenix RC40 2016 edition.
Maybe 6 x XPL PDT with VNX2 and current boost???

Looks like it could be a good host for a true monster light, hope so.

Thanks for all the great lights Vinh!!

How about this one?

Have you ever done a Jetbeam rrt-0SE? Seems like it could use a neutral XP-L HI or XM-L2?

Vinh have you ever considered a run of the Nitecore EC4? I think I saw you put a couple on FDT a while back, but man this little light is impressive! I got one from A&A deal of the day. Boosted it over 4A, swapped LEDs for dedomed U4 on copper. I know the driver's kind of a pain to get to, but it dissipates heat extremely well and throws like crazy. I'm surprised there doesn't seem to be much interest in it.

+1 considering the awesome group buy price !

I have two Nitecore EC4S XHP50 and EC4SW MTG2. They are my favorite non-V54 flashlights, by far!

Thats cool. I was thinking about buying the nitecore ec4 but it's have parasitic drain. So I passed...i know you don't have a pelican 7060, 368 lumen. What can you tell about my pelican 7060.

Vinh, Have you ever consider to mod a LedLenser P3 to achieve best throw/size ratio, if possible? I've just broken mine and I would another one with more power!
