List of lights that are easy to mod

I'm a noob but not new to modding things. I can make pcb's and build audio amplifiers by hand.

So I want to give flashlights a try. I have no idea where to start, but I want to start with Maglite or other makes found in retail stores.

Also if there is online seller with mod parts and accesories that would be great as well

If you like headlamps, the Princeton tec EOS is an easy mod and the results are fabulous!

I have experience on modding (see my sig line link) the following flashlights (I included my subjective opinion on how hard they are to mod):

Maglite D-series: easy to mod (very good for a beginner)
Mini Maglite: a bit harder than D-series but still easy to mod (good for a beginner)

Fenix P1D-CE: moderate hard (or easy) to mod

Maglite Solitaire: very hard to mod

Search Mod forums for DIY guidance on how to mod them. Here is one example on Mini Maglite modding DIY and one example on modding 4D Maglite DIY.

Sandwich Shoppe is very popular place in CPF to buy parts for modding.

My first mod is maybe too simple for your skill level but a ROP light is very useful
having more output on the LO bulb than an SF M6. And using the HO bulb, bulbs come in pak of two-LO and HO-can rivial M@g85.
