Lookin\' for a driverboard for a 110

dumb,dumb,dumb!
I bought a laser diode from Grammy guy and tried to install it into my pointer. Well, that was lackluster, because the thing isn't consuming more than 180mA. Anyhow, I was able to solder it in and start putting it back in the case and it jamed. Upon taking it out, I realized that I clean ripped the diode and pads off of the board (DO'H!)

Anyhow, I am looking for a 110 driver board (or a 105 if I can push the current up to 350mA). SO now I have 2 diodes and 1 bad board..

any driver board sellers?
thanks,
-Ben

Just get some 30 gauge wirewrap wire and solder from the diode directly to the next components the pads connect to. Them for extra mechanical strength just use a little hot melt glue. The same thing happened to one of my boards and that's how I repaired it.

Congratulation!
You make a deal with the grammy guy and you have received you Diode ? How long have you wait for it ? I have ordered my Diodes 5 weeks ago and now answer from grammy.. to all my emails.

You could always scrape off some more copper track and solder to that instead. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

But seriously I've got 105 driver boards in every room of the house - PM if interested. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It took a good 3 weeks and I sent him polite reminders every 5 days. I got a couple excuse emails from him, but thats all. Since I payed with PayPal, I had some leverage.. But it seems pointless now, the old diode and the new diode appear identical.
<sigh> what a waste of effort...
