Looking for a AAA flashlight / penlight to mod

I have a project in mind, but I need a source of flashlight or penlight bodies. The requirements are:

1) a 1-AAA or 2-AAA sized body,
2) durable aluminum construction,
3) clicky type of power switch at the end,
4) reasonable cost,
5) no widening of the body at the light end.

I don't need LED ones, unless they are cheap, as I intend to use only the body. I have visited a bunch of stores, done some Googling, but this is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Can anyone shed some light?

I found a really nice stainless light that is a 2AAA configuration.. was like $5 and i found it a menards .. similar to a home-deopt or lowes.. clickie on.. and plastic ends i bought it for the same reasons you describe.
