I'm looking for the Craftsman Industrial Quality 3D Tool Light 34-93065
with full rubber body and battery charge indicator light.
Seems to be now discontinued and by the looks of the body, was made by Dorcy.
Any suggestions and/or direction appreciated.
you can see a picture of the light here.

That is a very good suggestion. Thank you
I now remember seeing a similar version.
Probably does not have the battery level indicator light.
but, I'll certainly check it out.
thanks again.

My local Ace Hardware has a 3D version of this on display, that looks very much like the light you are asking about: http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1286202
You might check out your local Ace store, if there is one near you.

For the record, the lights depicted on the ace site are indeed the light I'm looking for except 1. I need the 3xD cell version and 2. I'm hoping to find then with the battery charge indicator light.

As mentioned, these all rubber lights are identical in almost all respects to lights made by Dorcy. So, i'm presuming that Dorcy supplied Craftsman and Ace with lights.

thanks again

Just to confirm, my local Ace hardware store did have the 3xD cell version on display, it was $11.99 if I remember correctly. It didn't have the battery indicator light though -- was that definitely original equipment, or was it a mod?

I'd settle for the 3D so will look at local ACE outlets.

Yes, Batt Charge Indictor was Original Equip.
Must have been made especially for Craftsman.
Very usful feature for people interested in maintaining a light
for guaranteed service use.
I found it at K-Mart which I believe has become a kind of Sears outlet,
I've written Dorcy and asked about it.

thanks

I looked deeper into the Ace web site and found the 3D light to which you refer. They call it "Comfort Grip" and as you say, $11.99.

I'll look locally first.

Thanks for the help
