Can't seem to find any reviews or specs on these. I LOVE my Novatac 120P, but would like to find something like it with the same style UI but in a slimmer package. These look like they may fit the bill. Any help would be great.

I have 4 firefly 3, 2 firefly 2, and quite a few more. have also owned several novatacs and HDS lights. if you are looking for a smaller twisty like the novatac get a Bitz light. made by a fellow cpf'r, its a great light for $140. i carry mine all the time, now in my edc rotation. cant really comment on arc.

Awhile back I posted instructions for a search hack that searches the six main flashlight review sites I use most -- all in one search -- for any light entered into it. It uses the KEYWORD function built into many browser's bookmark system.

The Firefly has a long and intersting history. I'll just say that they are unique and I won't sell the ones I have. It is doubtful they will be made ever again by the original maker and so they are fairly rare. The one you were looking at in the sales thread is a good deal IMO but I'd probably mod it with a FluPic or other multimode driver and a newer LED. They are easy to mod and are very fine in the hand - the copper in them makes an extremely smooth twisty. They were based on the even much rarer 'Larry light' by one of our master craftsmen tvodrd. If you can get a Firefly of any sort for that price you probably won't be disappointed.

Closest thing to the Fireflies these days is the Fenix P1 series. I have a P1CE (similar to the original Firefly) and like it a lot. I'm less interested in the digital models so I don't know how similar the digital UI's are. I'm just not into digital UI's.
