Hi. I'm trying out my first LS mod. I've got an LS and can figure out all of the wiring, but I have a problem with it getting overheated. It is getting placed in a 3 D-cell flashlight similar to a Maglite. I currently don't have any resistors on it, but know that they would help cool the LS down. While I do know how to do a good majority of the work required, I have no idea how many and what kind of resistors are required. So if you modding gods could help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Stick in a 2R2 for 500mA overdrive. Increase the resistance slightly to increase the runtime with a slightly dimmer light.
