LumaHunter Wrong LED???

I recently received my LumaPower M1 LumaHunter which will not work properly. I hit the button and it only flickers once and will not stay lit.
I cleaned all the surfaces and tryed bypassing the swithch and it still dose it.
Im wondering though if it could be becasue of the LED itself. when i lookedat it online it was advertised with a CRee Q5 but when i opend it up it says Luxeon Rebel. Am i missing something here. I though Cree was the manufacturer of the CreeQ5 not Rebel. Or are they the same?
