Hey all,

I have a Lumapower M3, and am considering getting the turbohead kit. Can I get some info/opinions from those that have purchased it? Is it worth it, is it super cool etc?

How's the spill since it becomes more of a throw monster, still usable? Short-long range use? ANyone try on low mode?

I'm also considering selling the M3 since I have a P2D coming and seem to have too many lights...

:ohgeez:

I just ordered one, the reviews look good, I think the Turbohead with the smooth refector is just what I needed to renew my interest in using my M3. I still hate the momentary switch, mine does not work at all.... I'm looking forward to setting the beast up with the 2 AA tubes with the turbo head. By the way, am I wrong in guessing that if you buy the turbo head, you end up with two complete flashlights??

I thought about that too. The turbo head only includes a reflector etc. You still have to purchase an emmitter module unit (the knurled section of the head) and I'm unsure if Lumapower is offering that for sale.

So, no, 1.75 flashlights only...

I can confirm that Turbo Head is only a casing with a larger reflector in it, the LED and circuit you use are still the original ones. After a few days of playing with it I ended up with this conclusion:

IMHO once you buy an M3 Transformer you are in some way bound to follow through and buy also its new components. 😗

I am also waiting for a P2D: so what ? Remember, when in doubt buy both !!:naughty:
