I see that Lumens Factory rates their HO-4 LA at 150 lumens and Wolf Eyes rates the D26 3.7v LA at 100 lumens. Is there that much difference between the 2? I kinda find that hard to believe...

actually, you can't look at those ratings for a comparison at all.. LF uses bulb lumens, WE is using something closer to torch lumens, but not the way surefire does, but probably similar...

eithor way.. the best way to compare these lamps is to compare the power consumption. I understand the WE lamp uses around 2.1amp, The LF lamp uses 1.8amp.... they are very similar in output, but the WE is a little brighter in most cases.

Very different beams from what I've seen.
The HO-4 has a brighter spot. It is also whiter. The spill light is pretty dim. The WE 3.7V D26 has a wider spot, brighter spill, and actually puts out more light, IMO.
My HO-4 and ES-9, which are rated the same lumens, are indeed almost identical in actual use. They have a brighter spot than the 200 lumen-rated WE 9V D26, though it has a larger spot, and much greater overall output.
For closer use, and wider viewing area, the WE is better. If you want more punch, and are more concerned with how the light performs downrange, Lumens Factory all the way.
