Lumens Factory should support Surefire's rechargeable incandescents

I think it is a justified idea. There are alot of us out there that own 8AX/8NX/8X's, 9N and 9AN's, 10X's and all turboheaded models inbetween. How many would love to breathe some new life into their older rechargeable surefire's with some new and better lamp assembly's? I know I would, especially with surefires discontinuation plans for the future. Lumens factory supports pretty much every other model of surefire incan, why not the rechargeables? I'm no expert but I think a small run of new lamps for some of the more popular rechargeable surefire's would be a seller and warrant the run, I can at the very least guarantee one guaranteed buyer here :thumbsup:. Maybe this is just wishfull thinking on my part, but I would really love to see lumens factory at the very least consider this idea. Just my 2 cents.

I'm sure lamps for this series will be here for a long while yet. I kind of doubt that LF has interest in supporting a dieing format like the B90 series. There is a guy doing a feeler thread for interest in new B65/B90 batteries in the Battery section of the Marketplace. I would be interested in some new Nicad B65's myself, especially if they are higher capacity. I think the B65 batteries would be a lot more popular since there are so many P60's out there. And P61's.

I'd even go for a rechargeable solution for the MN02/MN03 lamps.

Well it's more about getting a newer improved series of lamps, not so much about there being surefire replacements for a while, which actually isn't always the case. Example, I recently passed on a very good deal for a 9AN commander, I couldn't justify buying it because the lamps are so scarce and expensive now, especially the lamp for the KT3.

+1 :thumbsup: Although I hope he meant a new NIMH battery to replace the old Nicad, not a new Nicad. A new higher output lumens factory lamp and new NIMH battery? Man would that be sweet for my 8NX and 8AX.
